The foaming is not scientifically proven to improve the actual cleaning power but is added mainly for appearance purposes.In all detergents there are surfactants which means that the molecule has a positive and negative charge at each end. Laundry Sheets contain anionic surfactants that allow the molecules to surround a dirt particle, break it up and force it away from the fabric surface. All these dirt particles are collected and then rinsed off during the rinse cycle.
